Product code: WD-102

This is an intensive online, instructor lead, DICOM training which covers the current DICOM standard and concentrates on the new developments and additions. It is delivered using a virtual classroom (gotomeeting) thereby allowing interaction with the students. It is delivered in a 3 times 4 hours webcast, split up in one hour units. It can be delivered in any timezone (e.g. morning in US, or ASIAPAC or afternoon for middle east). It is targeted towards software developers, system integrators and testers that either have some limited knowledge of the DICOM standard, or will come up to speed using the study materials which are provided prior to the seminar (DICOM Basics textbook with specific reading assignments).

Detailed Learning Objectives

You will get an understanding of the DICOM standard. The data formats including its encoding (VR's) are covered, its protocol (both for Association management and DICOM commands) is explained. Structured reporting such as used for Ultrasound measurements, key images and dose reporting and all of the new services including Storage Commitment, MPPS, and IA is discussed. Additional important DICOM features including image quality, new enhanced SOP Classes, DICOMWeb and troubleshooting will be covered as well.
